How practice works
Learn the game without losing a streak
Practice mode uses the same rules, the same clues, and the same comparison feedback as the daily challenge. The only difference is that nothing is recorded in your daily stats.
Unlimited rounds
Start a new random player as soon as a round ends. There is no daily limit.
Separate from the daily game
Practice results are saved in a different browser slot, so your streak stays intact.

Questions about practice mode
Does practice mode affect my daily streak?+
No. Practice rounds are stored separately from the daily challenge. Only your first completed daily puzzle each day can change your streak, win rate, or guess distribution.
Can I play practice mode more than once per day?+
Yes. Practice mode is unlimited. Finish a round, press “New random player”, and keep playing. You can also reload the page and your current practice round will be restored.
Are practice players different from the daily player?+
Practice picks a random player from the same curated database. It is possible, though unlikely, to see the same player in practice and in the daily challenge.
Why play practice if it does not count?+
Practice is the best place to learn the clue order, test a process of elimination, and warm up before the daily challenge. It is also useful if you want a quick football quiz without waiting for the next reset.
